Thank you to all who joined us on Friday, January 23, 2026, as we celebrated art, sports, community, and the cultural heartbeat of North Minneapolis!

The art installation was up January through March of 2026.

Included in the show were 22 recent pieces portraying Minnesota legends of sports and pop culture. Also included was my 1985 graphite sketch of Prince (as a 14-year-old Prince fanatic) that helped pave the way to the Capri.

The Capri Theater is the historic home of Prince’s first solo concert (Jan. 5, 1979) after signing with Warner Bros. Records. As a lifelong, over-the-top Prince fan, I am honored and humbled to show my work in these hallowed halls.
